The claimClaude Code feels completely different once you install this. Anthropic quietly released an official plugin called claude-code-setup that scans your project and recommends hooks, skills, MCP servers, subagents, and automations — then sets everything up step-by-step. Most people run Claude Code completely vanilla, which is why it feels messy.
Checked against the source: claude-code-setup is a real plugin in anthropics/claude-plugins-official — Anthropic's own curated plugin directory — and it does what the reel says: analyzes your codebase and recommends the top automations per category (MCP servers, skills, hooks, subagents, slash commands). The install command shown is the real one. Even the editorializing holds: most users DO run vanilla Claude Code, and the ecosystem config is where the leverage lives. No funnel, no gate, nothing for sale.
