The core is real and genuinely good: pointing Claude at an Obsidian vault of plain markdown is a proven, free, widely replicated second-brain pattern — one prompt and a folder, no purchase required. The wrapper is a paid ad. “Let it run your life” oversells note read/write into autonomy that doesn't exist without extra plumbing, and the “template” is a lead magnet for a funnel — in this genre, gated templates routinely arrive as an email sequence instead of a working vault.
